--But all better now!
My week started off with my modem dying on Monday. UGH! It is hard enough on a normal week, but this was FINALS week, and I was supposed to upload my final project for Child Psychology by 11:59 Tuesday. That did not happen. I emailed the professor on Tuesday, from work (a no-no), and asked for extra time. I only had to hear back from her to ensure that was okay. Thankfully, I handed my Statistics in on Sunday, extra points for getting it in early, so hey, sounded good to me. :) That might have been enough for me to sit back and relax. I mean what else could I do?
Then, Tuesday I went home early from work to complete the psychology project. Darrell thought this was a good day to take the car (FINALLY) to the garage. He just found this garage the other day, as our mechanic retired over the winter. But, my car has been making horrible noise since about Thanksgiving. Well, the guy said he could take it in, but the work would have to wait until tomorrow. I drove Darrell's truck (and longed for my car it was so bad to drive) to pick him up.
No work for 2 days. No Internet for 4. This was not working for me on finals week, but let me see if there was some joy...
Well, I found that I can get along with my academics advisor. That was good. Oh, and the lady at the DSL office was sweet. I wish I had her direct line. :) There was a glitch about my plans for the weekend. With all the time off, and no Internet, I was not ready to relax. So, rather than go to visit my mother and sisters, which is my down time, I am home. I have uploaded the project though, so I can begin to relax a bit. I am going to spend this afternoon with my Nana. I miss her very much, and am looking foreword to some time shared. Then, this evening, we are taking my father-in-law to church for an Irish night. It's kind of fun. Oh, Ruth will be at a friend's tonight, so I can spend time in the morning being a bit more relaxed. Then, unknown to me, DJ and his girlfriend has a HUGE argument about the lack of time spent with his family. So, I guess we are going to have a family outing on Sunday afternoon.
See, it all works out.
