and things change.
Ruth's friend was sick, so no overnight. :( She was so sad. Of course, when Bobby, Chrissy and the Grandgirls arrived, she perked up. After all, it was a delightful day out.
I went to Nana's. I have been missing her, so it was a good relaxing time. By the time I left there, though, I was feeling rather poorly. I arrived at home in time to round up the bunch and head off to Boiled Dinner, and some Irish Songs. Ruth and I won second place in the word search contest. We split the package of two bars of Irish Spring with Alex, a girl from church. She stood up just after me, so we thought it was even. :)
Fast forward to Sunday...
I was in bed all day. Yes, ALL DAY. Even when I had my abdominal surgery, I did not stay in bed all day. I finished one book, and began another, but mostly I slept. Darrell took the kids on an excursion to Jamestown, RI. It is a favorite spot for us to poke around. Big Rocks, crashing waves and tidal pools. Next time, Sam and I might get to go. :) In any case, I had a relaxing day, which is something I have longed for, so I can not complain. :)
Don't Blink, it might be different tomorrow. :)
