Playground fun

We had a bunch of errands to run today. Ruth had to be "good", translate into patient, still, quiet as we sat in the DMV. We went into the grocery store- yikes when she has not been prepped. A long ride in the truck added to her antsy pantsy. I had one more place to stop before home.

Then, as we drove along the route I take to work (when I am working), there it was. The playground that I wanted to take her to. It is huge, with lots of slides and a climbing wall. It sits in the blazing sun most days in the summer, so I avoid it. But, not today. Today we had the blessing of rain. Lots and lots of rain. No one was on the playground, and I thought "why not?". So, I stopped.


It was worth it:

Soaked bottom and all!
