Here is my journey to find out what makes me unmistakable, what brings me joy... and to release the thoughts in my head.

Wine and Friends

or Whine and Friends.

borrowed from Weatherburn Gallery

This was my title last week as I presented the worship service for our ladies fellowship at church.

The week before I did something I have never, I mean NEVER done before. I went out for a drink with the girls. How does that tie into a worship service? Look at the title. :) As I sat there with a drink in hand, I listened as the others shared their thoughts, stories, some with laughter and other close to tears. This was an awesome experience for me. I learned about the women I work with, and they got to see a glimpse of me with my guard down.

This experience was followed several days later as my Sunday school class gave a sermon on God's Friend. Some how I knew the two things tied together. God wants us to want to be with Him. He wants us to let our guard down. He hears our laughter, and revels in it. He hears our tears, and supplies us friends with a cup of tea and a hug. This is the message I shared that day with 6 women that have touched my life, and at one time or another was the warm bodied response to my silent moans and groans.

God finds delight in us. He understands the restless feelings we can have. He sees how we build walls, and how sometime it takes a little something more for the world to see the person hiding with in. I wonder, have you opened yourself to Him, and maybe let your hair down with others?

I know it helped me greatly...

The only thing that I want to share Tita is that we are nothing without GOD, so whatever trials we had experience,we must thank GOD for without trials we will be a stronger and better person. And GOD give us those problems because we are test how big our faith to him. He wont give us problem that we cant solve.

In everything give thanks to GOD whether its bad or good things happen in our life because i do believe that everything happens for a reason. And make GOD as our bestfriend because everything happens in our life will be according to GOD's will and things will be alright because nothing is impossible to GOD.

Its nice to have a friend but its better to make GOD as your bestfriend. Talk to him through prayers.

Colen, that is exactly what my point to the ladies that night. That no matter what, God is there to be by our side, as our friend.
