Or, Kathy needs to grab some tissues....
My eldest sister, Kathy, is someone I have shared with you before. I cannot imagine my life without her. She helped my mother to take care of me when she was 7 years old, and I was an infant. She watched me, okay used me as a decoy to go make out, when Mom had to work to put food on the table. When we moved to my father's, Kathy and I shared a room. Our closet was filled with wondrous clothes and she was willing to let me dress up in them. I am still afraid of cleaning under my bed because there could be gigantic bugs hiding there...
Kathy is one of the people in my life that has always wished the best for me. If if was in her power, it was there for me. This does not exclude my other sisters, Beth and Michelle, but today it is about Kathy.
You see, Kathy has TALENT! The talent of making others feel good about themselves. TALENT to find something and make it pretty. TALENT to inspire others to make the ordinary into something extraordinary. TALENT to make a cup of coffee into a time of day to look forward to. TALENT to make little girls want to grow up to be strong confident beautiful women.
TALENT TO DO THIS:
Meet Kat's Kradle & Candy Shop. Kathy joined in some fun at A Scrapbook Of Inspiration. I cannot tell you how proud this makes me. I have hoped for years that Kathy would return to creating these wonderful dolls. They are so happy, these little girls. Their smiles just make me smile!
See what I mean!?! These little beauties helped Kathy to stay home with her little girls. They inspired her to provide her family with "extras" and allowed her to use her TALENT.
You may wonder why I am emphasizing TALENT. I spoke to Kathy today about my Sunday school class this past weekend. We spoke about how God gives us TALENT, and expects us to use it. The more TALENT we have, the more we are supposed to share. The more we share, the more we receive. God's love is shown when we use this TALENT. Do me a favor, go check her out. You will not be disappointed.
Oh, and Kathy, yes, I did. I used a TALENT you have encouraged me to use over and over. I used it to share my love for you. :)
Love, Cindy B

You are so adorable. I love your sister, and I think she mentioned how you make her laugh when we were commenting about sisters. I have a funny sister too, and she is so adorable as well. I love what Kathy did, her things are gorgeous and I am thrilled that she is opening up an Etsy shop. I am going to keep A Christmas Fair up all weekend. Tomorrow is Pink Saturday, hosted by Bev from How Sweet The Sound, a typepad blog. About one hundred women usually participate. So, Kathy should have lots of visitors over the course of the weekend too.
Thank you for stopping by, I am going to visit you often.

Very talented!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Aren't sisters the greatest?
The slideshows are fun to do and much quicker to post than individual pictures.
Have a great weekend.
Those babies are soooo cute!!
What a fantastic tribute to her!
