I bought this dangling heart for Ruthe's room. I thought it is bright and shiny and sweet, and that she would love to have it. She does like it, but did not want it for her room. Instead, she asked to hang it over our kitchen door. This is the door that visitors see when they approach our home. It opens onto the porch where she plays on warm days. She doesn't like to be alone in her room, so this makes sense to me. As we hung it in the doorway, I thought to myself, this is one of those things that I have bought under the influence of her, but really was for me. It feeds the spontaneous frivolous side of me that I hide under all the deep thoughts in my head. It is my hope that as people approach they will see this cheap trinket and think.....
"Here is a place where love resides."

What a sweet post! I bet they will think "what a cheery home" as well. Thanks for stopping by my spot. It's always fun meeting more moms.
Have a good weekend.
I think it is a sweet post too. It will make a great conversation piece as well, and will remind you all the love resides there!
