Family photo

My husband caught this trophy pike (45" long, 20 1/2 pounds, 17" girth) this morning.

I figured it was a good reason for a family photo....

Enlightenment in my tea

Shades of Gray

I see my world in
shades of gray.
Dark and deep charcoal,
soft spring clouds,
Thoughts are coming from my head,
thoughts are all around.
I sit and think I should be
plain as black or white.
But everything thing that I see
is shaded day or night.
Think it through in red or blue,
black and white are okay

An old friend of mine once said, "Worry and rocking chairs have something in common. Both give you something to do, and get you nowhere while you are doing it."

I am a survivor. In my life, I have overcome many challenges, and I struggle to realize that each day is fresh and new. It is my hope to overcome this need to "rock" my life away and starting finding the joy life has to offer.
