Here is my journey to find out what makes me unmistakable, what brings me joy... and to release the thoughts in my head.

5 for 5 Tagged, well sort of...

My sister, Kathy, did this 'meme' the other day. Though she did not officially tag anyone, she did mention, privately, that she would love to hear my answers for question #4. I am always game for fun, and this was really thought provoking.

Here are the rules:
Each player answers the questions themselves.
At the end of the post the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment letting them know that they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answers.

Finish these five questions:

Five to ten years ago:

10 years ago: I was enjoying my boys: camping, Scouts, Church, and just started college classes (taking one at a time). I was Trading Post Manager for the Boy Scout Camp in CT
8 years ago: I was the Christian Education Director for a local church, I was expecting (un-expectantly), shortly after began enjoying my daughter as well as my sons and gave up college
5 years ago, I was working in new job that stressed me out; I had 9 people living in a 3 bedroom house (4 adults and 5 children); dreamed of college again.
5 weeks ago, I finished my Associate’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences with an Educational Paraprofessional Emphasis :)

Five things on your to-do list:

1.Finish Ruth’s quilt
2.Clean the bathroom
3.Clean out the car
4.Bake Impossible Pie
5.Do laundry

Five favorite snacks:

1.Trail mix- sunflowers seeds, dried cranberries, and chocolate chips
2.Chocolate chip zucchini muffins
3.Ice cream
4.Lifesavers
5.Peanut M&Ms

Five things I would do if I were a millionaire/billionaire:

1.Pay off all back bills and set up with an accountant to ensure we never get behind again. Maybe, this could include paying off the house, and maybe hiring someone to clean once a month, and a new truck/ car.

2.Renovate my home to include new roof and flooring, extra bedrooms, cold water in the bathroom sink, drying out the basement, and a covered porch.

3.Build my dreams of helping others: create space for teen girls with babies; setting classes to help young mothers/ fathers with learning to keep house and cook meals; Maybe this could include building a playground for all to enjoy in our neighborhood.

4.That leads me to think about schooling. I would want to pay back my student loans, and set up funds for my children and grandchildren. I would love to know that all educational needs are met, even if it is at the elementary level. Education is very important to me.

5.Okay, I was not being saintly; I do have other things I have wanted to do. Like haul a camper across America, or visit another country. I think this is one of those things where I would want to be able to set up an account that would allow me to draw interest so that each year I could choose what I would want to do, and whom I would do it with. Maybe enough for all of us to do some traveling, or even enough for me to hop on a plane by myself. Either way, I would love to explore the world.

Five places I have lived:

1. Ashaway, RI
2. Enfield, NH
3. Lebanon, NH
4. Hanover, NH
5. Where I live now

Now, for my five:
1. Linda at Gotta' Grow With It
2. Julia at Blessed With 5
3. Char at Mommy to Five J's
4. ComfyDenim at Notes From the Laundry Pile
5. Marva at Blessed Frugalness Time Two With Twins

I hop eyou will play, and feel free to join in if I didn't tag you. Just let me know that you are playing along. Thanks. :)
